Whats next after I purchase?  

1. You will receieve a welcome link, welcoming you to WU Aesthetics along with a password to access your course.  
2. You will then complete the course exam. (It’s open book style, with unlimited attempts. You can’t fail.)
3. Once you sucessfgully compelte the course, you will earnd you certificate.
4. We will then report your success to DBPR within 24 business hours.

   How do I complete the HIV/AIDS for Barbers Course?

   After purchase, an email will be sent to you with a clickable link to start the course reading material and exam. You can start the course right away, or wait until you are ready (we suggest you get it out of the way) The course is completely self-paced so you can take as much time as you need.

   The course package includes a 7 question multiple-choice exam and course evaluation. Unlimited exam retakes are allowed if you do not reach the passing score.

   After a passing score (80%) is achieved, a certificate is immediately available for you to download and print. We automatically receive a notification of your exam completion and report your hours to the Bureau which tracks continuing education for the Barbers' Board that same day!

Will this maintain my Florida Barbers' License? Are you approved providers with DBPR?

Absoloutely and YES . We are a Florida Board of Cosmetology-approved provider #0008298 course number is

0300091. 

This Florida board-approved continuing education course can be taken by Barbers, Restricted Barbers and Barber's Assistants.

Do I need to report my completed Florida cosmetology continuing education hours?

No worries on self reporting, we automatically do it for you!  It is mandatory for Florida board-approved providers to report completed continuing education credits to The Bureau of Education and Testing within 30 days of completion, 10 days if it is near the October 31st renewal date.

We take care of our students and understand the urgency in making sure credits are expeditiously reported.  We automatically report sucessfully course exams within 24 business hours.

What if I do not see my CE hours reported after 24 hours?

Check your exam certificate and make sure you provided us with the correct license number. If your license number was not correct, please email academy@wuaesthetics.com. If your license number was correct and it has been 72 business hours (24 business hours for our submission and 48 business hours for the department), please email us so we can follow up.  Please make sure your email address and license numbers were correct as well.  

How do I renew my license once I complete this Florida cosmetology continuing education course?

Go to the DBPR website, Renew license. Log in and pay your renewal fees. Licenses are no longer mailed, you can print off directly from your account once you pay. 

Is this course only available in English?

Great question.  Our courses and exams are web-based. The course is in English, but you can easily translate any page into any language, including Spanish, Mandarin (Chinese), Korean, or Vietnamese if you are familiar with using a page translator.
